Thinking Out Side the Bun

I do love Taco Bell but that's not relevant to my post.

I would like to take the moment and express my gratitude on what Prof. Leeper is trying to do in this class. This is honestly one of my favorite classes this semester and it’s not because of the content necessarily but the discussion that takes place in this class. Prof. Leeper is making us think outside the norm and form our own conclusions and beliefs, which I have quite enjoyed and wished we did more of. I really do enjoy hearing everyone’s point of view in the discussion and has made myself think if my opinion is correct after or along the lines after hearing my classmates view and what Prof. Leeper has to say on the matter. I’m challenging everyone and myself to add more of our own thoughts and opinions to our discussions on the blog and in class so that we better articulate our own understanding and become better artist, viewers, and ultimately better people and followers of Christ. Something that I have already taken from our class together and has stuck with me and hopefully I take this to heart is something that was said in a discussion was “Is to always do the right thing, in the moment.” I’m a planner and I like to think that I have an idea of what will happen, let me tell you God rocks my world sometimes because of this, but doing what is necessary in the moment is key. Some things that come to mind that seem to be always right, which come from my faith, would be to act in love and forgiveness and acceptance towards others. President Theodore Roosevelt had a similar quote posted below.
Thank you for your time and enlightening me in your opinions. Thanks & God Bless Chris
