2 for 1

I also read Leeper's thesis - Imagining the Sacred. I'm going to talk just about Please Don't Feed the Animals. I like how it's told from two different perspectives; the child's and then an outside viewer. The child's perspective really makes it hit home, that to children, adults are this huge - sometimes looming - figure. Seeing things from the perspective of the child in the piece helps hit home this feel of adventure and wonder I think, because everything seems larger than life when you're small. Everything is so big and far away and seems like there's an adventure in every direction.
