Documentaries

From my readings and from what we watched in class, I have a totally new perspective on documentaries. I didn't give them much thought before now, but now how I see that they are made I'm paying more attention to them. I'd never really heard of any of the titles or names of directors for documentaries before in my entire life. When I thought of documentary I always thought of National Geographic or Planet Earth stuff. Now that I'm learning more about it, I'm more interested in watching some documentaries.

I think the documentary on documentaries that was shown partially in class peaked my attention to the various ways and styles of documentaries. Of course, I'd never really watched a documentary so it all seemed a little bit the same to me but was still interesting to watch and learn from. I'm kind of wishing to watch some documentaries now that are being mentioned for some of them I have never heard of...
