Watching the classic Pixar short films and learning about the development of animation was a great way to blast us with memories from the past and blow our minds at the same time. The progression of animation using computers is impressive and can be hard to wrap our minds around. I may have complained about Disney earlier but I will admit that their advancements in animation and storytelling deserve praise.
I had no idea all the work that would go into these shorts nor the reason for them. I always wondered what the tests for new programming and animation details were like and where they were. Now I realize that they used these shorts as the excuse for these experiments without blowing it on big-budget movies.
Anybody remember seeing this one before A Bug's Life? Hits ya right in the feels :)
