Telltale's Games

Telltale is a studio which specializes in heavily story-driven games based on comic books and such. Their games consist of a set of choices you are given. You may choose to answer the question or deal with the situation at hand with (usually) 4 choices you are given. The outcome of the game will change based on your decisions.

One of Telltale's more well-known game is The Walking Dead, based on the comic book. You follow the story of Lee Everett. As the end of the world begins, you run into a little girl who's name is Clementine; her parents are dead and you take her under your wing. Together you run into groups of people and have to make decisions which will determine who will live, who will die, and whether or not you are going to stay with them.

Telltale has also come out with a game that I found to be very interesting. It's called The Wolf Among Us. And it is based on comics as well. The premise is that you are a community of "fables" or creatures of fairy tales (The Big Bad Wolf, Sleeping Beauty, The Huntsman, Bloody Mary, The Beauty and The Beast, etc.) living among the mundane.

















The Wolf Among Us, I feel, is geared a little more towards an adult audience but it is a very interesting game nonetheless. You play as Bigby Wolf (The Big Bad Wolf), and you are the sheriff of the fable community. You are trying to solve a mystery, because there have been murders among the fables and that hasn't happened in a few centuries or so.
