Hello, I'm Megan! I'm a transfer from Oregon (and yes, I am far away from home - 2,200 miles) and my major is Animation. The journey to finally choosing animation has been kinda long. I started out in my junior year of highschool knowing I wanted to do something with art, but deciding I didn't really care what I did. I eventually settled on Graphic Design, partially because of my parents wanting some financial stability for me, and ended up taking a year off after I graduated to pay for my first year of college.

During that year I changed my mind, and decided I wanted to illustrate my own books (writing is also another passion of mine). During my first year at George Fox University, I couldn't help but feel that the classes I was taking to get me where I thought I wanted to go, wasn't what I wanted to be doing. I had considered animation when I first started thinking of things to major in, but I passed on it because I didn't think I could do it. I've only been here a week at Huntington doing my Animation classes, but I love them and I'm glad I finally took the plunge.

I'd love to either animate movies, tv shows or even video games. Dreamworks, Nintendo or the Odd Gentlemen are my top three places I'd love to work at. (The Odd Gentlemen worked on the newest King's Quest! It has hand painted textures and backgrounds!)
