Shovel Knight

Since we brought up Indie Games in class today, I'll talk about Shovel Knight.

Shovel Knight is all about this little blue knight with a shovel that goes around defeating these other nights that are helping out the evil Enchantress. It's a cute little side scroller sort of game with some nice hidden secrets and gems (sometimes literally) as you go through levels. The pixel art is really well done and the animation in the walk cycles and others are also done really well. I really like this game because I feel like it really takes you through the entire world of Shovel Knight, and even though you're going through a level trying to avoid dying and to get to the boss at the end, it still manages to show you a lot of the world around you.
